Today is April 8th, later tonight Bartolo Colon will take on Ex-Met Aaron Harang.
Last week had it's ups and downs if you were a Mets fan. I'm a Mets fan, and I hate to admit it sometimes. The first series of the season explained why. I will also admit I was one of the many to jump off ship, just after game 3 vs the Nationals. This bullpen is still a huge question mark and may lose the Mets too many games this season. The loss of Bobby Parnell is a big shot to the leg, but Sandy Alderson needs to get a Veteran RP to stop the bleeding. Household names like Kevin Gregg, Joel Hanrahan, and Ryan Madson come to mind.
This team, besides the bullpen has the talent to between 80-85 games this season. They showed me that vs the Reds. They have the fight in them to win, but when you can't hit and your pitching pitches good enough to win, there is something wrong.
Yes, the Mets are missing that Miguel Cabrera, Prince Fielder, Mike Trout, Robinson Cano, etc. type of guy, but they do have David Wright. When he has protection, the guy can hit, and right now he is doing way too much. At least he is trying to. Basically what I'm trying to say is go trade Montero/Flores/Davis and get a 253/25/70 First Baseman.
The Mets may go 77-85 or 85-77, this team may be fun to watch or they may not, but in the end it's way to early to freak out at 2-4. Remember the 86 Mets started off 2-3.

Crazy's very early Jets Mock
As we all the know the NFL ended in a dreadful way last Sunday, but for some reason some of us (me) want football back already. So I will do a Jets mock draft for all my Jets followers.
1st Round: Jace Amaro TE (Texas A&M)
Jace Amaro is a big play, big hands TE. He was a big target for Manziel, and Geno needs a big target. Jeff Cumberland and Kellen Winslow simply didn't get the job done. I expect Cumberland to compliment Amaro as the #2 TE.
2nd Round: Marcus Roberson CB (Florida)
I know a CB? Really? Yes, but Cromartie is clearly not the same Corner, Milliner has come around and Wilson is a ok #3. The good thing about Roberson is he can flat out cover and he's very physical. The only thing he needs to watch out for is being too physical down field. Otherwise, very good pick.
3rd Round (From Tampa Bay) Christian Jones ILB (Florida State)
Jets need to get younger at the LB position. Jones is that missing piece. Great in coverage and great with his feet. Clearly a Rex Ryan guy.
3rd Round: Dakota Dozier G (Furman)
Not a "sexy" pick, but it gets the job done. Dozier is a very good pass blocker and will help Geno. Also could possibly succeed the ailing Willie Colon.
4th Round: Craig Loston S (LSU)
A standout safety who is the complete opposite of the awful, Dawan Landry.
5th Round: Ryan Grant WR (Tulane)
Jets need WR's, but this draft is deep. Plus they have money coming off the books and there is a lot of good FA WR's.
Grant is a steal in Round 5.
6th Round: Terrance West RB (Townson)
West has a pro body with explosive running ability. He would be a good #2 to Chris Ivory, because Bilal Powell isn't.
7th Round: Devon Kennard OLB (USC)
Good 7th round pick. A nice LB for Rex to groom.

Crazy's SB pick. Why the most hated team in the world will again be victors
Here are my championship game predictions:
49ers @ Seahawks 31-17 Seahawks, simply because the game is in Seattle and Russell Wilson has only lost 1 game at home. If this game was in San Fran I'd pick differently.
Patriots @ Broncos. 38-34.....Patriots. I like New England because Tom Brady is Tom Brady. I just don't think Peyton Manning can play cornerback and that's why the Patriots will head to the Meadowlands. Let's stop with the fairytale that Peyton can't play in cold weather and simply look at the Broncos secondary.
Super Bowl:
Patriots vs Seahawks. Huge game at the Meadowlands. If this game was out west in Seattle I'd pick Seattle, but It's not. That's why the Patriots will win...again. 31-24. Tom Brady is MVP (OF COURSE) Oh and Julian Edelman and Danny Amenolda will give Seattle's secondary fits. Don't worry Rex, Belichick gets another ring, but don't worry! You don't have to kiss them.

Seattle comes out of the NFC because nobody not even Cam Newton is beating them at home.

Crazy's Week 10 NFL picks
I've made several picks throughout the season for the Super Bowl. My new pick is Broncos over Panthers.
So on that note lets go to my Week 10 NFL picks:
Seattle over Atlanta 38-13. Let's be honest the Falcons stink, without Julio and a brutal Offensive/Defensive line they're done for and clearly Matt Ryan is not elite. Lycnh is able to run for 150 and Michael adds 90. Huge game for Seahawks to make a statement.
Detroit over Chicago 27-16. Josh McCown is on a role with the Bears and switching to Cutler is a huge huge mistake by Marc Trestman. Cutler is not under contract for next season and who knows, McCown could be the answer at QB. All Stafford has to do is throw it to Megatron and is offense will stay hot from that.
Green Bay over Philly 17-14. This is a Running Back football game. Why? because Seneca Wallace is not good and Nick Foles is inconsistent. I say McCoy has 20 for 170 and Lacy 21 for 199. Why that much? Oh yeah both Defense's are awful as well.
*Upset Alert* Jacksonville over Tennessee 20-16. Chad Henne? Yes Chad Henne. The Jaguars are going to prove why they're not the worst team in the league (Bucs) MJD is going to have a huge game today. Chris Johnson is gonna be Chris Johnson and Jake Locker is going to show he's Jake Locker (From 2 years ago) This is easily a trap game for Tennessee and they lay a big egg @ home.
Indianapolis over St Louis 33-16. Andrew Luck absolutely goes off on a very young defense and Trent Richardson finally breaks out of his shell. Plus their secondary will shut down Kellen Clemens, who looks lost out there. Well how do the Rams score TD's? Two Words: Zac Stacy
Oakland over New York (Giants) 28-17. Terelle Pryor will be way to much for the Giants, their LB's are just not good enough. Plus the Giants are one of the worst teams in red zone offense. Just that alone is a recipe for disaster.
Buffalo over Pittsburgh 21-17. CJ Spiller + Fred Jackson will be too much for the Steelers "old" defense. EJ Manuel can throw 9 passes and the Bills can still win. An unhappy Big Ben won't get it done again because he has no WR's and Todd Haley has no game plan.
Cincinati over Baltmore 52-14. Joe Flacco has no offense. Nothing. You can't replace Dennis Pitta/Aquan Boldin with empty space nor can you replace two great LB's with empty space. That's the Ravens problem leaving the Bengals to just be the Bengals and put last week behind them.
Carolina over San Francisco 27-23. The two hottest teams in the league square off. The Panthers can run and so can the 49ers. I think the Panthers LB's are just too much for Kaep and co.
Arizona over Houston 35-16. Houston is a hot mess and it will show today. With Foster on the shelf it will be hard to run plus Patrick Peterson will shut down Andre Johnson, whom is already Case Keenum favorite wideout. Carson Palmer just needs to not throw multiple picks and Zona will be fine.
San Diego over Denver 35-31. What? Why? Are You Crazy? Um yeah, hence the name. I think teams have figured out Denver. All you have to is put Peyton Mannng on the ground, but if San Diego fails to do that they will lose.
New Orleans over Dallas 48-23. Monte Kiffin's defense is not built to defend the deep ball and that's what Brees will do. Kenny Stills is going to have a huge game. The Saints need a big win @ home to get their fans back in it after that brutal loss to the Jets. Rob Ryan knows this team like the back of his hand and will have a game plan to shutdown Romo.
Miami over Tampa Bay 23-20. A lot of problems in Miami, i think this bring the team together. Tampa Bay played their best game last week, but probably left themselves in Seattle. Miami wins in a tough: physical game.
