Crazy's NFL Preview

I was taking a break from my blog for awhile because not a lot was happening in the Sports World. The NFL season is approaching, and everyone is excited. My team: The Mets is not doing a good job of holding me over until football. Even though I'm a Jets fans I'm excited for the season and expect there to be a ton of surprises. So here we go:

AFC East:
Patriots: 10-6
Dolphins: 9-7
Jets: 7-9
Bills: 2-14

Bills 2-14?!? Yes they have a tough schedule and don't have a good team don't expect anything good from this team except CJ Spiller. Also the Patriots and Playoffs? What? Never ever count out Tom Brady

AFC North:
Bengals: 11-5
Steelers: 9-7
Ravens: 8-8
Browns: 7-9

Two Surprises, neither of them is the Bengals in first place. Let's be honest the defending Super Bowl champs got worse and won't be good. The Browns are a rising good team, expect them to be in almost every game this year.

AFC South:
Colts: 12-4
Texans: 11-5
Titans: 7-9
Jaguars: 3-13

Colts are better than the Texans. Matt Schaub cannot win a Super Bowl, he just can't. It's not in his nature. Andrew Luck is much much better. Titans and Jaguars will be the same old same old.

AFC West:
Broncos: 13-3
Chiefs: 8-8
Chargers: 7-9
Raiders: 0-16

Not much have changed, the Raiders are the worse team in the NFL and will show that season. In Oakland they're chanting TED-DY BRIDGE-WATER!!!

Playoff Seeds: Broncos-1 Colts-2 Bengals-3 Patriots-4 Texans-5 Steelers-6
AFC Champ: Colts

NFC East:
Giants: 10-6
Cowboys: 9-7
Redskins: 7-9
Eagles: 5-11

Michael Vick is not the answer and never will be. RG3 will have to become a different Quarterback and won't be the same.

NFC North:
Packers: 11-5
Vikings: 8-8
Lions: 6-10
Bears: 5-11

The Bears are real real bad and showed it the preseason. Either then that nothing changed.

NFC South:
Falcons: 14-2
Saints: 10-6
Panthers: 9-7
Bucs: 7-9

Revis Island isn't going to help a bad offense. Expect Mike Glennon to take over in week 8. Panthers will be better, but their defense will keep them from the playoffs.

NFC West:
49ers: 12-4
Seahawks: 10-6
Rams: 9-7
Cardnials: 6-10

The Rams a winning record? Whaat? The Rams will be back. The 49ers are overrated and won't match what they did last season.

Playoff Seeds: Falcons-1 49ers-2 Packers-3 Giants-4 Seahawks-5 Saints-6
NFC Champ: Falcons

Super Bowl: Falcons over Colts
Super Bowl MVP: Matt Ryan

MVP: Drew Brees
OROY: DeAndre Hopkins
DROY: Sheldon Richardson
DPOY: JJ Watt
Comeback Player of the Year: Tony Romo
Coach of the Year: Mike Smith

Biogenesis Breakdown

Should Alex Rodriguez be allowed to play when he appeals?
My answer is hell no! This shouldn't even be a question. The MLB has a ton of evidence against him and he shouldn't even be allowed to appeal. The MLB shouldn't ban him because it will make them look bad. He's not Pete Rose, he's not gambling, but he is cheating. He should be suspended immediately until 2015.

The question is should the other players have appealed instead of accepting it? My answer is no. They can be replaced. Just like Melky Cabrera last year, he was available for the playoffs and the Giants said no. That might be the case with Peralta & Cruz.

Jordany Valdespin is a total fraud. I hope he never gets a job in baseball ever again. He's the most selfish player I've ever seen play. He deserves, what he gets. He can play for the Newark Bears for all i care. This means the Mets should vacate any record he leads (Pinch Hit Home Runs)

Three Yankees got suspended today. How does this make the organization look? Really bad. They look more like a circus then they ever had before. Even worse than the Clemmens saga. Montero, Martinez, Rodriguez, and Cerveli.

From now on it should be one strike and you're out. Kudos to the MLB for cutting down on the cheating, enough is enough. Clean up the Sport. If you get caught, ban them from the sport for life.

Crazy's Miami Hurricanes Preview

Football may be back in Miami. It depends if they disqualify themselves or not. I believe that all these scandals will not become a distraction and will only be better for this squad.

Bold Prediction: Stephen Morris will have an amazing year capping off his college career. He will get himself into the first round in the NFL Draft. He has that talent & Miami has the offense to help him. Speaking of breakout years: Duke Johnson. He's going to have an absurd year. In my opinion he's the best running back in all of college football.

Let's go over the schedule:
Florida Atlantic-W
Florida-L
Savannah St-W
South Florida-W
Georgia Tech-W
UNC-W
Wake Forrest-W
Florida St-L
VT-W
Duke-W
Virginia-W
Pitt-W

Putting them at 10-2 in a bowl game & in the top 25.

The 6 Man Plan (New York Mets Edition)

Jenry Mejia, a 23 year old prospect who seems like he's been around in the league forever found himself in Washington this afternoon. Yes Washington is struggling, but Mejia was filthy.  He got 15 swinging strikes!  His final line- 7 innings pitched, 7 hits, 0 runs, 0 earned, 7 strikeouts. Lucky #7 for Mejia.

Now the Mets are forced to keep him in the rotation. Forced? Yes, forced. You can't keep a guy like this out of the rotation. Harvey-Gee-Torres-Hefner-Wheeler-Mejia is very underrated. Plus Harvey and Wheeler need to shed a lot of innings if the Mets plan on keeping them in rotation for the rest of the season.

Scott Atchison should be DFA'd to make room for Mejia. He's old, his velocity isn't good, and he's constantly injured.

The Mets can possibly pitch themselves into a .500 season and that's a good thing to have.

Cheater Cheater Pumpkin Eater

When you look up Ryan Braun's name today what do you see? Cheater? Liar? Addict? Idiot? Selfish? He fits all four of those words quite well actually.

Everybody thought that Ryan Braun had the purest talent in the world and was the next " Hank Aaron" When you looked up his name in 2011 you would see: MVP, ROY, All-Star, "next big thing"

Do you think Ryan Braun knew what he was doing? Absolutely!! He is a selfish individual who only cares about himself. Not his team, friends, family, or fans. He didn't care. H. was suspended in 2011 after his MVP season He got someone fired for doing their job and someone got his suspension overturned.

The MLB was furious they let him get away. At that point in time everyone knew he was on Roids. I bet even his own manager knew.

65 games and losing 3 million dollars is not enough of a punishment for the actions this man did. As one teammate of Braun put it " It's like giving money away to charity for him, he doesn't care about 3 million dollars"
Him and Alex Rodriguez should be banned from baseball for life. They've been warned numerous numerous times yet they still keep doing. They're like 5 year olds.

If the MLB were smart they'd make Ryan Braun give his 2007 ROY to Troy Tulowitzki and his 2011 MVP to Matt Kemp

Why Baseball is amazing (Story of the 2013 Boston Red Sox)

The Boston Red Sox were a joke last season. Beyond laughable. 69-93, last place in the best division in baseball. From day one Bobby Valentine had no control over is team and they underperformed every night.

The Red Sox hired their former pitching coach John Farell and all the puzzle pieces fell into place. This team is extremely talented and one of the best teams in baseball. After losing the bad contracts of Josh Beckett, Carl Crawford, and Adrian Gonzalez they've actually become better

This team is a Starting Pitcher and a Bullpen Piece away from becoming a championship caliber team. Look for likes of Matt Graza, Jake Peavy, Bud Norris, Francisco Rodriguez, Bobby Parnell, and Jonathan Pabelpon to be traded for. They have everything right in front of them.

Losing arguably their top 3 best relievers in Andrew Bailey, Joel Hanrahan, and Andrew Miller has only made them stronger. Although they might be in trouble if Clay Bucholz is indeed injured.

They needed someone to step up maybe someone like Wil Middlebrooks you'd think, right? No, he's currently in the minors. Dustin Pedoria and David Ortiz are both having MVP seasons. One of them is currently in talks to be locked up for $100 Million.

The Red Sox might be compared to the San Antonio Spurs and not in the way you think. This is the year to put all the eggs in the basket an try an win it all. This might be their last chance for a while. It's the Red Sox, trust me they'll be willing to take risks.

Crazy's Thought of the day

The Charlotte Bobcats have changed their name back to the Hornets. The name Bobcats never fit in right, it was awkward. In my opinion this is definitely a great move for the City. Will it draw more fans? Certainly!!! Will it help the team win more game? My guess is no.

MLB pitching match ups of the day:
Ricky Nolasco(LAD) vs Stephen Starsburg(WSH)
David Price(TB) vs Esmil Rogers(TOR)
Francisco Liriano(PIT) vs Mike Leake(CIN)
Anibal Sanchez(DET) vs Ervin Santana(KC)
Joe Saunders(SEA) vs Bud Norris(HOU)
Jeff Samardzija(CHC) vs Jorge De La Rosa(COL)
AJ Griffin(OAK) vs Jered Weaver(LAA)

The two must-watch games tonight are: Dodgers @ Nationals and A's @ Angels.

Also it looks like Matt Garza will indeed be dealt this weekend.

In NFL news today: The Buccaneers have traded CB Eric Wright to the 49ers for a 2014 conditional round pick.
